Casual Summer Vibes

 

 Happy Saturday guys!!! This weekend has been much needed after this week. I hope you all have had a good Saturday, we've been painting. That explains the paint on my leg. All three of my cats also make an appearance in this blog post but they're precious so its okay. Look guys, I finally got some white high tops! Now let's get to it!

 I decided to pair this outfit with two different vests. The blue one gives you all those summer vibes while the blue jean is a bit edgier. Both the shirt and the blue vest are from Forever 21. The blue jean vest is from Aeropostale, but I've had it for ages. This shirt is just so fun and I want to wear it all the time! Forever 21 has got some great stuff right now. These shorts are the same ones from my last post, from American Eagle.

Well, what can I say? I finally got a pair and boy it opens up a whole new world of outfit choices. Sadly, I already got purple paint on one of the laces but its all good. I absolutely love them already! The only thing I could say bad is that they are a little stiff because they're new but that shouldn't be a problem for long. They did come from JC Penney but you can buy them at Converse too. There's my three (not so) little munchkins. In the back is Waddles, Orangie, and Fuzzy to the right. Hope you guys enjoy the outfit and the cats! 

Coachella Crazy

 
 Well out in Palm Springs they're rocking out at Coachella and I'm here making blog posts for you wonderful people. I do wish I was there, however. Just think of all the great outfits, music and people. Plus meeting Taylor Swift wouldn't be to bad either. I guess I'm a little Coachella crazy... you see what I did there?

This vest, I mean what can I say? I got it last week from, wait for it..... Forever 21. It's so amazing and so perfect for summer and festivals. The vest is blush colored suede with fringe. *SWOON* Fringe is definitely in this year and what could be better than a fringe vest? If you ask me, the answer would be nothing. This awesome hippy shirt just so happens to also be from Forever 21. I've had it for a little while but you could probably still find it. The sleeves button at the bottom and it has those cute pom poms on the ties. These shorts are from American Eagle and they're same as the others just in black.

This turquoise ring was from my mamaw and it only fits on my pinky. However, wearing rings on your pinky has become a bit of a trend lately, so I think I can get away with it. The other rings are more from the set I bought at Charming Charlie. These rings wear so effortlessly. You can pair them together or just wear one, you could even wear all of them if you wanted. These boots are the same ones from Forever 21. If you were wearing these a lot, they could get uncomfortable but they do look cute. White high tops wouldn't look bad as an alternative. I hope some day we all get to go to music festivals and wear cute outfits and meet Taylor Swift. Until then, a girl can dream.  









                                                     

Summer Loving

If this blog post doesn't scream summer daydreaming, then I don't know what will. I know it's not hardly short weather but we can pretend. This outfit can be worn so many different places depending on what shoes you put with it. I've gone for the casual festival look even though I won't going to any festivals, probably ever. 

 I've clearly been wearing these shoes very often, but it's all good. These are just the black high top Converse. Now if you wanted to dress this up, you could wear a pair of ankle boots, black or brown. If you want a more beachy look, some cute sandals and denim shorts would do the trick. You could also swap out black converse for white ones and pair it with black shorts. When I first wore this outfit, I did wear it with black shorts but alas they were in the laundry. 

 These shorts came from American Eagle and they are the most comfortable shorts ever. They have these in a million different colors and they are the perfect length. This kimono came from Cato but I got it on sale last summer. The shirt was a gift so I don't know where it came from but any white shirt would do.  

         We searched high and low for a black floppy hat at Forever 21 and finally we found this bad boy. Floppy hats are a major wardrobe necessity for summer. You can wear them at  the beach or you can dress them up for a night out with the girls. This necklace also came from Forever 21 but it can be optional. I do have on the rings from Charming Charlie but a ring to match the necklace would look really good too. 

Spring Stripes

I'm back... in black jeans! Sorry for not having a new post last weekend, but I was extremely busy. Now back to the outfit. This shirt I picked up at Forever 21 a few weeks ago and its so amazing. It has these really big sleeves and wild pattern that I love. The fact that the stripes of pattern are vertical makes you look slimmer. This blue jean jacket is a very light wash and I've had it for ages. It is from JC Penney. 

These combat boots came from Maurice's and they have to be one of my favorite buys ever. They are incredibly comfortable. They have the cute little studs on the back and you can lace them all the way up but I never do. The outfit would also look cute with a pair of white high top Converse, but I sadly do not have any at the moment. The Converse would give it a bit more spring time feel and make it a little girly. That's all a personal preference and totally up to the wearer.   

These rings are just two out of a set from Charming Charlie's. They have the cutest jewelry and they are affordable. I've not always been a big ring wearer but these I love. You could also pair this outfit with a cute but small necklace. The shirt is really what you want the stand out in this outfit and a big flashy necklace would take away from that. A really nice bracelet would look great too. Well that's all I have for you all this week, but don't worry short wearing weather is coming up and I am extremely excited!
